The previous property was bottom heavy – only two bedrooms upstairs on a very large plot in a prime residential road.
Our brief was to evaluate whether to demolish and rebuild from scratch or to develop from the basis of what was there. The economics worked out such that the better option was the latter.
In the specification we included air source heat pumps and wet underfloor heating throughout. The flooring was mostly marble and the staircase was a particularly interesting feature. The finished result is a very substantial and economical family home.
